The Knowledge Based is a dynamic, searchable database that allow you to quickly find solutions to your technical problems.
The interface is simple and easy to use.
You have three ways of searching the knowledge base.
- Each resource item in the database is assigned a unique ID. This ID can be used to jump directly to that item
by entering it in on the Doc ID Request box to the right. If you find yourself using a particular download on a regular
basis, you may want to consider writing down the unique ID and jumping directly to it from the main page.
- You may also search the knowledge base by SafeNet product and resource type. The center section of the THOR page has
two drop down menus that contain the SafeNet products and types of data available for those products. On step 1, you
choose the product. At step 2, you choose the data type. If you wish to include more than one search criteria, hold down
the CTRL key as you select the items. When you have what you are looking for, press the blue GO button and a detailed
list of found items appears. From there, you can click the one you want to view or download.
- Finally, you can search the knowledge base using keywords. The keyword search recognizes multiple words using either
AND or OR. For example, if you wanted to search for Windows 2000 drivers, you would type: Windows 2000 Drivers.
AND
OR
Clicking the AND radio button and then pressing GO will dictate that your search results will include the words
Windows AND 2000 AND Drivers. (The knowledge base is not case sensitive. This search would also find windows AND 2000
AND drivers,for example).
The knowledge base has been created by SafeNet's Technical Services and K-Commerce Departments in an effort to help
